Missionary requests

(3-24-2010) Urgent prayer request! Please pray for churches in India. Buddhist extremists in India burned down 20 churches last night. Tonight they plan to destroy 200 churches in the province of Olisabang. They plan to kill 200 missionaries within 24 hours.

 

Right now all Christians are hiding in villages. Please ask God to have mercy on our brothers and sisters in India. Please pray for them and commit this matter in our Almighty and Victorious Lord!

Church Requests:

(7-14-2010) After seeing the cardiologist this after noon I could tell by the look on their faces it would be disappointing news……you guessed it…..I am back in A-Fib.    I kept up my “jolly” spirits until after I left the office and then felt defeated.   We discussed the next plan of treatment which would include Oblation and the final treatment would be to be placed on a powerful medication which has its side effects with the liver, kidneys and lungs.

 

I will wait a few weeks before I decide on the Oblation and find out more about it.   I plan on attempting to do exercises to keep up the heart rate and hope that I keep up the energy level to do routine tasks.  One can manage while their heart is in A-Fib but would need to stay on the Coumadin to keep the blood from clotting.

 

I know that many people were praying for good results but it is not to be at this point.   I thank you for your prayers and concern on my behalf.  Do continued to pray for me.

(7-14-2010) Frantz passed away this morning at 8:15 a.m.  Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming.  Pray for peace and comfort for Miriam and the Family.

(5-19-2010) Please pray for Christy’s family after her passing.  Christy had been diagnosed with MDS Cancer and has been in therapy for several years.  She died yesterday at Hospice in Mt. Joy.   Pray for comfort and peace for the family.  Christy was an RN at Philhaven for many years.

 

Pray for the Gilbert and Dorothy’s family whose son, Jeffrey, age 45 died this past Monday.  Gilbert and Dorothy were co-workers with us at Philhaven in the 60’s.   Pray for comfort and peace for the family.   Also, Dorothy is diagnosed with a blood disease and is presently in the hospital in VA.  Pray for healing on her behalf.
