We are reviewing a series of sermons given by Dr. David Jeremiah of Turning Point Ministries on the subject of Revival. Each week we study a different example of revival from the Old Testament and some general information about revivals as well as personal advice about about how to bring revival in our own lives.
Following this short series we will be going through the new book by Dr. David Jeremiah titled “I Never Thought I’d See the Day”. As I wake up and scan today’s headlines, I am often tempted to think, Toto, we’re not in America anymore. I’m exaggerating, of course, but only a little. When I look at the changes that have occurred in the land I love-and in the Church I love even more-just in my lifetime, I have to pinch myself to see if it’s a dream gone bad. Sadly, what I see is all too real. I do a double take several times a week-sometimes several times a day-as I witness more and more changes I never thought I would see.

During the months of June, July and August-God Calls for Justice. The survey of the Old Testament follows the theme of “justice” as it pertains to God’s ongoing relationship with Israel and all the people of the earth.
Unit 1- “Justice Defined,” explores the fundamental teaching of the Law as it is laid out in Exodus, Leviticus and Deuteronomy.
Unit 2- “Justice Enacted,” looks at the justice of God as it is enacted through some of Israel’s righteous leaders, including Samuel, David, Solomon, and Jehoshaphat.
Unit 3- “Justice Promised.” examines some of the texts that prophesy concerning God’s coming judgments, in Psalms and in the major prophets-Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekial.
